    Vista to XP!

    Hi,
So i got a new computer, preinstalled with vista, and now have to change it to xp.
My question is am i just supposed to partition/format my main drive (C:\) or am i supposed to partition/format both my main drive and the recovery drive D:\. Partition/format D:\ or not?

Hey first let me know whether you want to Make a dual boot setup with XP along with your Vista OR just want to install XP only & no need of Vista anymore?

If you are formatting your C:\ and replacing Vista with XP, you will void your warranty...

How to install XP is documented on thousands of web sites so that can't be your question. Please take a moment and try rewriting the question.

    1. Installing XP.

Thousands of web sites about that.

    2. The drive issue.

    Just went over that.

    What's left?
