Problem while shifting from Win 2000 to Sp1 / Sp2

Hi,

Few days back I thought of going changing to XP and I can not. Why, every time when went to install Sp pack on 2000 and I want to connect network to download SP1 and SP2 I can't. because I snag a worm that makes me appear a window message saying that in a few seconds the computer is rebooted that there is a security issue and restart it so every time I try to connect to the Internet ... What can I do? .. I'M trapped in 2000 WIN! _! and I do not like .....

Install patches of the Blaster and Sasser.

Install Sp2 from CD. See if it works. or you can try this How to install Windows XP from MS-DOS without diskette, CD-ROM or USB
