    Upgrade to Vista, need help

I want to upgrade my computer and install Windows Vista Home Basic 32 on my system. I was just concerned about my games and was thinking that would my games still be working under Vista? I am having a lot of games such as COD4, CSS, Crysis, Sims 2, Doom3, etc but didn't used on Vista machine. Currently I am using Windows XP Pro.

Now-a-days lots of people are facing problem with Vista such as errors, compatibility issue and many more. So I think you should stick with XP rather than upgrading your system.

I will support Marthaz point and would suggest you to go for dual boot if you want to see what happens and are very eager to use Vista on your system. Reason for dual boot is that if you will see some games and made to run on only XP machine and will not work in anyway on Vista machine. So in such case you can use XP to play those games. I hope you know how to dual boot your computer. If not then please let me know.

I know how dual booting but that will require more ram and hard disk space isn't it? Currently I am having 1GB ram and 80GB hard disk.

I don't think you would require more hard disk and also ram. 80GB hard disk space will do. However you can go more ram if you feel but remember 4GB is max for vista 32 bit.
