Long pause at Windows start up Hi, I have Win Xp as my operating system. my problem is that when I start my pc it takes 2-3 min to boot, where programs that come up don't do anything and don't seem to be fully loading. Also, if I pull up IE or any other browser no pages are able to load at that time. When I'm booting into windows when the background comes it stays there for about 2mins with no disk activity and then boots up fine. I am having trouble finding what is causing this delay. Can someone give me some ideas? |

Hi, Press <crtl><c> to skip that step in the boot process. I will increase speed of your start up process. |
