Two Hard Drive & two Operating system

I am planning to set up my two HDD as two different operating systems.
I want to install XP on both of them.I will connect both the HDDs on different IDe controllers only one connected at a time.
Then i will set in bios which HDD to boot from. Now the problem is when i want to access the other hdd will it be named C partition only or some other name?
    Thanks!

See when you boot from say "p" hard disk then it will be assigned as c drive since its OS is loaded on your system & other HDD say "q" will get some other name even if it has same os installed! & Vice-versa. You can manually assign names to the drives but cant have two c drive at the same time!
Why dont you use a standerd dual boot?
Its much easy to use no need to change the hard drives physically.
Dual boot will solve your problem if you have it you can access other HDD easily. This dual boot menu will be created automatically. If you have any problem you can always edit the boot.ini file in the C: drive or where you have installed your first Operating system ie. XP!

I think you are bit confuse with the fundamental of dual boot.
ie. Installing multiple Operating Systems on different drives you must know the basics & the functioning of this feature.
