    Unable to install XP

    My Specs:

    Videocard: Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700
    Motherboard: Intel D875PBZLK
    Memory: 4GB DDR2

With my specs on my system I am unable to install XP. I used to get BSOD and need to restart. What is the problem with my system? How to fix it?

Please check your ram whether they are of single brand because it seems to be a minor problem.

Might be your mobo or os is not supporting the 4 GB ram. And could you tell us what was the message while getting bsod.

You can check your os and mobo by installing the computer using only 2GB rather than 4GB.
