I have the same problem, but by trying to relocate from its windows cd it gives nothing, the same black screen with error message. the windows cd does not even starts. thank you
Your BIOS is set to boot first on the CD?
You will get this error :This is because Grub is located on the partition where Ubuntu is installed or on a seperate linux partition which is "/boot" if you have created a seperate boot partition. If you delete thi, you will get this Grub Error 22. If you want to fix this error. Enter your Windows Installation CD. press 'R' when it asks you to repair from recovery. Then select youe Windows drive [C] is default. Then type your Administrator password if you have set one, or press Enter. Then at the recovery console, type :Code:GRUB stage 1.5 GRUB loading. please wait.. Error 22This will repair the MBR [Master Boot Record and you will be able to boot from Windows. the fixmbr command will remove grub's entry from the mbr. Hope this helps...Code:fixmbr
