Windows XP SP3 update problem

hello friends,
Last night updated & downloaded SP3 well. but on required restart i am not able to get the login screen neither the windows logo.
What is wrong?

Please tell us your machine? Is it AMD?
may be your product is not registered
OR Just try a fresh install after formatting the drive. Re-install will also be OK.

My machine is AMD and using ASUS sli mobo.

I got to know there are some bugs updating sp3 on AMD so i suggest you just stick to your SP2 only for now. Just re-install XP & you are fine. You can have a look at this for more information on this problem
