Re: GA-78LMT-S2 can use pcie 3.0 graphic card When you use a old PCIe 2.0 graphic card in PCIe 3.0 it means, PCIe 3.0 slot is backward compatible. But you cannot use a PCIe 3.0 card in PCIe 2.0. The system will not boot or detect the card. It is possible to use old hardware on a new slot. And also there is no way to upgrade a pci slot of a motherboard. You will have to upgrade the entire board for getting latest benefits. |
