Latest Office 2003 Updates Failed To Install

I have found that below Office Updates are failing to install.
Security Update for Microsoft Office Publisher 2003 (KB946254)
Security Update for Microsoft Office Word 2003 (KB943983)
Security Update for Office 2003 (KB945185)
Security Update for Microsoft Works Suite 2005 (KB943973)
Any ideas why they might be refusing to get installed??

I wanted to know if you have tried installing them manually? If not then download those updates one by one and start installing then one after. If you face any issue while install them manually as well then let me know.

So now i have tried installing all those updates manually but now i am getting an error saying "The update cannot be applied". I did not had any issue in downloading them but i dont know why they are not getting installed. Is there anything else that i can try out for installing them.

If you are having original installation disk of Office 2003 then you can try repairing it. If not then you can try editing below registry keys. Editing below registry key might reset customized user settings and help you out as well.
This is what you have to do:
Go to Start >Run > type "REGEDIT" without quotes and click on OK, after that check out for below keys:
3. Locate and select the following registry subkeys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0
Once you get them right click on 11.0 and change it to Old11, close registry Editor and try installing updates again.

Yes you can try out what Mr. Boo Bear has mentioned above but if repairing office and editing registry as mentioned doesn't make any difference in your case then you will have to uninstall office 2003 and make clean installation of it again.
