do I need to uninstall office 2003 before install office 2007

I am planning to update to office 2007 Pro from office 2003 but i wanted to know if i should uninstall office 2003 before installing office 2007? Will i be able to open files created in 2003 from office 2007 Pro ? any ideas?

It is recommended to uninstall older version of Microsoft office before installing newer versions so i will suggest you doing the same. There is no need to worry about the files that you have created in 2003 as Office 2007 is capable of carrying out task like open, edit, save, .etc on them without any issue, best of luck.
