Windows Update Error "WindowsUpdate_00000643"

While installing Windows Vista Update Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Verson 1.1 Service Pack 1 (KB929729) I am getting Windows Update_00000643. Is there anything i can do about it??

Have you tried installing update manually? If not then you can download update from here and check out if you are getting same error message or not.

If you don't get any help form that then you can download Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp utility, save it and run the wizard. After that uninstall NET Framework and install .NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable Package and related updates.
