office 2002 outret.msi

When I open Outlook I get an error message to "Detect & Repair" a
possible missing dll file. I have to choose OK before Outlook will
open. It seems to be working fine, but it's annoying to get this
message every time I open the program. When I tried Detect & Repair
the first time, the error message didn't pop up for the next few times
I opened Outlook. Then it started appearing again. This time when I
Detect & Repair, it's telling me it can't find the outret.msi file to
fix the problem. I searched the Office disc and can't find it. What
do I do?

Re: office 2002 outret.msi

Hi Kathy,

The file is part of the standalone Outlook product and it's that CD that is being requested.

If you have a complete MS Office XP(2002)set as well, check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel to see if there is
also standalone Microsoft Outlook installation as well. If so, you may be able to remove it and then use the one from the Microsoft
Office choice.

Backup your files before making any change in software installations.
