pro11.msi file required

I have been trying to update Microsoft Professional Edition 2003 but i keep getting an error saying "pro11.msi not found". I have found a pro11.msi file in Professional Edition cd but it keeps giving me same error again. I want to know if i can get rid of this error somehow and update office 2003 successfully??

Are you using original installation CD or some other one? if you are using original installation CD and if error continues then you will have to re-install Microsoft Office 2003 to get rid of this issue. You can try using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility for uninstalling Office 2003 completely. Just follow second post of this thread for performing clean installation.

Yes simply reinstalling office 2003 fixes the issue, previously i have wasted US$30 by getting zaperrors product RegCure. I had come across one mentioning that he had used zaperrors for getting rid of same issue but it did not made any difference in my case.
