Importing Outlook 2003 Data into Outlook 2007

I am not an advanced personal computer user. I have Windows Vista Home
Premium 32 bits. Microsoft has indicated that my current Office 2003 software
is illegal. I have therefore bought Office Small Business 2007 (which
includes Outlook 2007 with Business Contact Manager) and received the 2 CDs.
It appears that I need to "uninstall" Office 2003 before installing Office
2007 but I must not lose the Outlook data of 2003 (Calendar, Contacts and
emails stored under personal files). Ideally, I suppose, I should import
those files into Outlook 2007.
When installing Office 2007, is there a procedure I should follow to ensure
that the information from Outlook 2003 is copied to Outlook 2007?

Re: Importing Outlook 2003 Data into Outlook 2007

NEVER import Outlook Data.

Uninstall the 2003 version, reboot and install your 2007 version.. Outlook
will automatically find and re-use your old data file.
