I cannot open email attachments in Outlook 2007

Since downloading Ms office update something is going wrong with Outlook 2007, i am not able to open email attachments at all. I am quite sure that this issue is because of update, Things were working fine before. I wanted to know if there is anything i can try to get rid of fix this by some means.

Yes there is something wrong with latest update for Ms office. I don't know what, i have reported this to Microsoft as well. For time being you can try to do a system restore for getting things working fine again. I have done same thing in my case and Outlook 2007 is working fine. I think we need another update from Microsoft to fix this issue.

Same here, i was not able to open email attachments in Outlook 2007 after installing update for Ms office. I had tried out using 'Last Known Good Configuration' and 'Repair' but they were no making any difference in my case. Later i tried doing a system restore and Outlook has started working fine again. This is surely an issue with update as i have crossed checked it by reproducing the issue, anyways let me know if you get any response from Microsoft on this.
