Unable to install Office 2007 - InfoPath.en-us/InfLR.cab missing?

I am having a laptop running with Windows Vista 32bit SP1. Since last couple of days am trying to install Office 2007 (having multiple copies, retail as well as MSDN downloaded) but yet not succeeded. In every attempt of installation, it goes upto 35% and stuck with the following error:

"Setup cannot find InfoPath.en-us\InfLR.cab. Browse to a valid installation source, and then click OK”

Please help.

Me too struggling with exactly the same error. It is my Vista desktop, earlier it was running with Office 2003 Pro. Uninstall it and trying to install Office Home and Student 2007. Every time setup fails and ask for the cab file. I found it in my CD but setup don’t wont to accept. It. Any suggestion ?

There could be various reasons and solution for missing file errors and one of them is if there is a memory Error in the RAM installed on the memory. You should remove the ram, clean it, settle it in another slot and try to install Office again. One more thing you guys can do is try to install each apps separately. I mean one app at a time. See if it works.

I download the bit torrent and did the right click thing, but the I cant seem to find the file I need how do i find it please help

Can you please explain in details what exactly are you trying to do or what is your querie anyways? Usually, downloading anything from the torrent software is kind of illegal practice unless some open source software is kept for downloading purpose from the same source. You could even get into trouble with viruses as the sources from where you download it cant be legit.
