Office Enterprise 2007 - Error 2203 - internal error 2147287035

I am having a HP laptop that was running with Windows Vista and Office Enterprises 2007. Due to some reasons I needed to format the C drive. I did and reinstalled Vista as well as all other softwares but facing problems while installing back the office again. When I try to install office again it fails every time with error message saying something like “error 2203 - :\windows\installer\6d86fe5.ipi -2147287035”. Furthermore it also says something Access Denied but I forget to note that error.

I don’t have much idea about these errors hence don’t know what should I do. Guys somebody please suggest me some fix for the same. I need to reload Office.

Can I know from where did you bought this copy of Enterprises 2007 ? I mean, if you have bought this form your employer than it should be only for a single use like when we bought a new laptop that come with OEM version installed. I hope you are installing it on the same system where it was installed before formatting. If it is the case and you are facing the problem than you should contact MS folks as they provide free phone support for enterprises users.

I bought this copy from Home Use Program and yes, am installing this on the same system where it was installed earlier. The only reason I needed to format is because of the hardware failure and yeah I changed few hardware in this system but does that really matters ? Do I need to buy a new copy of Office because of just changing my hardwares though it is the same PC?

In such case i will too recommend you to call Microsoft support. If they are not allowing to install Office again just because of hardware change, it is ridiculous.
