Error 1327, Invalid Drive D:\

I am trying to install Office 2003 foreign language but seems like my system don’t wants to do that. According to the instructions, I should go from Start\all programs\Office\office tools\ and should click on office 2003 language settings. As soon as I click on this the installation wizard appears and gives me some error regarding D drive. Let me tell you I don’t have any drive with letter D. I don’t how to fix the error if I don’t have the D drive itself.

Well the solution is very simple. If you don’t have a drive with that name, just create a virtual drive with letter D. Now go to Start, click RUN, type CMD and press Enter. Here you need to type this:

Subst D: C:

D is the drive that not exists but system is asking for the same and C is your valid Drive. Type this in command prompt, press enter and you are done. Now start the installation again, it will work.

Thanks for sharing such very good solution to this issue. I have used it and lot of people has resolved this issue with this solution. It should be worth the try
