Getting rid of Microsoft Office Document Image Writer

I had installed Microsoft Office on my system. I found that Office Document Image Writer keeps on appearing. It is set as the default printer on the same. I am bit confused why it appear as default printer still when I have installed a separate hp printer on the network. I need some help to deal with the same. I am having only one workstations here. Whenever I print the same goes to Document Image Writer. How to remove this completely and set my printer as the default option only for printing.

Document Image Writer only appears when there is no printer installed. At the time of giving print check the drop down box of Print window. There if you cannot find the printer you have to install the same one more time. Or else go to Printer and Faxes and set the printer as default which you use regularly.
