    Missing O1561403.cab

From last couple of hours I’m trying to install Office Enterprises 2007 on a Vista laptop. But every time installation reaches about 23% it gives me an error message saying “Missing O1561403.cab”. I searched the file in the installation folder but dint found any.

Do I need to download this file from web? If yes, where can I get the same? And if not, how can I fix this error? Please help.

Nope, I don’t think you need to download the file from web because it is the installation file and use to be right there in the installation folder. BTW from where are you trying to install the Office 2007? I mean is it from a installation CD or from any network source directory? If it is from Network, make sure the network directory is completely accessible. And if it is from the installation CD, ensure your CD is clean. Better clean it with a cotton or any clean soft cloth.

Well I have a working solution for this. Create a new folder on your desktop, copy entire Office Disk content in that folder and run the setup.exe right from there. It will complete the installation without any problem. If you face any problem or error while copying the content to the folder than there is problem in your CD and you need to fix it.
