What does Error 25004 refers to. I am trying to reset the installed product to default. And for that I am trying to work with re-installation. But it looks that it is not going to work properly. My GPO crashes instantly at the of installation. The error says that Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 -- Error 25004. Invalid value specified for OptionState State attribute: Default. What does it means. Is there a some missing file in the system which is causing the problem.

The problem lies with the key that you are using to install the same. Because of which you are getting problem. Is there any previous edition of Windows installed on your system. Like some trail stuff. This happened to me when I installed Office 2010 trial. When I try to install another office over that it takes the trail key only. The second was simply rejected. You have to somehow uninstall that completely or else it might not work well.
