french language pack office 2007

Today I downloaded French language pack for my Office 2007 from TechNet sites. There wasn’t any problem during the download but the installation fails saying there is a corrupted file in the ISO and points to \\proofing.fr-fr\proof.nl\proof.xml

Can anyone tell me where can I get this one file separately for download ?

I doubt if you can download this file separately as it comes with the complete installation package. BTW, how are you trying to install the downloaded file? Did you burned it on Disk or extracted it somewhere? If not, you should try doing it. First of all try installing it with a DVD, burn the ISO using trusted third party softwares like Nero or Roxio and see if you get the error.

I am able to access/open the ISO file, also tried it extracting to a folder. I don’t think the problem is related to all these things. The installation is getting failed because of requested file was not found or the installer is detecting it as corrupted.

Did you tried it to burn on a CD or DVD and installing from the same ?

Also make sure to CONVERT the ISO file to a bootable format while burning it too DVD. if you just burn it as an ISO, it will not work anyhow.
