Office 2007 config.xml and GPOs

Hello, having very small but important query . Due to some reason I needed to add my corporate product code in a config.xml and want Office 2007 to use the same when pushed out with a GPO. But am unable to do this. When I put this xml file in the folder with .msi but it is not recognizing it. Can anyone please help me out ?

I guess you dint made the changes in the config.xml and hence getting the problem. You need to removed the <!-- at the start of the line and --> at the end. Do this and try again.

Also remember that the product key also needs to be entered without the hyphens. Hope you understand that I mean it should be just characters surrounded by speach marks and nothing else.

As far as my knowledge the keys in the XML are case sensitive. You should pay attention to this. When I specified some option state details I found that I had put OptionState ID rather than OptionState Id which generated a nasty error when trying to allocate the msi though GPO.
