Office Prof 2007 keeps asking for Home and Student product key

I bought a new MSI laptop that came with Office Home and Student Trail pre-loaded. But as I require some more apps and features I bought office Professional and installed with the product key. There was no problem or error during the installation but now whenever I open any office program it asks me to enter the Home and Student product key. Remember I updated to Professional version than why is it asking me now for that product key ? What should I do to fix it ?

Did you installed Office Professional without uninstalling earlier version ? it sound like that to me. Anyways, now uninstall both trial versions from your system, reboot the laptop, use Windows cleanup wizard and remove all files and folders associated with those again reboot the system. Now install Office Processional with the product key again and everything will be fixed.
