Office 2007 "Installation of this package failed"

I had just finished with download beta edition of Office 2007. When I run the setup I am getting a error that installation package failed. Does anyone getting this same error on their system also. How to deal with the same. My download does not showed up any kind of error.

I am getting exactly the same error on around 4 systems that are installed and I am not able to figure out the issue. I had downloaded that properly. When I run the setup on first system the same error appeared. I then tried on another and so on. Nothing is working here. The error looks like a issue related to some installation packages. I am going to re-download it back again.

Try to clean your system first. Empty your temp folder and recycle bin. Or simply run Disk Cleanup. This will wipe out everything from the system. Then I will recommend you re-download the same one more time. It is going to help you lot. There can be bugs with beta edition, but in mine it working quiet fine.

Try updating to latest version of windows installer , like 3.1 v2 some....
