office 2007 product key

Last week when I did Windows Update, since then there was some problem in my Operating system and activation codes. I talked to my vendor, he told me to run system recovery and gave me a new Activation code. I did the same successfully but it re-installed my all installed softwares, I think it was obvious. Hence I installed every thing again but facing problem with Office 2007 Student and Home. It was running on this same system since a year.

Now when I installed it and try to activate it with the product key, it says key is Invalid. Well it is written on the CD itself and I bought this a year ago from best buy. Can someone please help me out in this ?

I guess there would be Office Trial version included in your recovery process. You should check for the same. If it is there you must uninstall it first, followed by disk cleanup and reboot. Once done, now you can install the Office using CD you bought. Also if there is a problem in the keys, you should use magnifier glass for recognizing the keys properly. Many times we all make mistakes in 0 (zero) and O (Oh), or B or 8 (eight).
