Office 2010 32 bit upgrade to 64 bit

I am already using Office 2010 32bit on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit laptop. As ma using this since past 6 months I have large enough data stored with my Outlook. Now I want to change my Office 2010 to 64bit without losing any of my data ? I know we can download/buy 64bit and reinstall but as I said I dint want to lose my data hence I don’t think I would go for that. Any other way please?

Who told you that re-installing will surely make you lose your data ? There are many ways to back up your Outlook data. Also as far as shifting 32bit to 64bit is concerned you cannot do without re-installation. You can backup your outlook files and data, re-install outlook 64bit and enjoy. Backing up Outlook depends on tools and 3rd party addins you have installed with Microsoft Office. But that too can be backup easily. And you will need to re-install your entire office to make 64 bit. No other way to do the job successfully.
