microsoft bootstrapper has stopped cant download office

As of now am having office 2003 running on Windows XP. I decided upgrade the same with Office 2007. Instead of buying a CD I thought to simply download the same (I have too good bandwidth) but as soon as I start the download, my system gives me an error saying “Microsoft setup bootstrapper has stopped working”

Please help.

I had faced the same problem with my Microsoft Office 2003 and running the PRO11.MSI instead of Setup.exe file helped me properly install the Microsoft Office 2003 in my system. Search for the same file in your Microsoft Office 2007 and check whether your problem is solved or not. I would suggest you to purchase original CD of Microsoft Office 2007 or download the same file from the official website of Microsoft and install it in your system. Before installing make sure that you have uninstalled all the earlier files and related data of MS Office from your system permanently.
