Product Key not recognized

I bought office home and student 1/11/2008 when I purched my
Toshiba Lap top from best buy. But on 11/30/2009 I restored my computer to
factory standards because of problems. I am using my original software
product to reinstall, but Microsoft does not recognize my product key and
will only allow me to use the software for 25 days without it. How do I fix
this? I purchased this software.

Did you uninstall any Trial Version and the Activation Assistant, reboot,
prior to installing your paid for version?
