error 1935 HRESULT 0x80070424,Office Standard 2007,vista 64-bit

Having a huge problem and need some urgent support. It is a Vista 64bit laptop where am trying to install Office Standard 2007. Every time I start the installation, it fails with the following error message:

“Error 1935 {97F81AF1-0E47-DC99-A01F-C8B33B9A1E18E} HRESULT 0x80070424”

Please suggest a fix.

Do you have .net Framework 4 Client Profile installed on your system? If yes, simply delete it first, run Disk Cleanup, reboot and start the installation again. You can check this by:

Click Start (or Start > Run in Windows XP).
Type appwiz.cpl, and then press Enter.
Look for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile in the list of installed programs.

I received the exact same error. I have .NET Framework 3.1 on my computer. I have reviewed all three links but couldn't get the office 2007 install to work. Any other ideas.

did you guy get it fix. because i got the same problem too.
