Product key for OneNote 2003

I am having a Windows 7 with Office 2003 installed. Usually I require working on OneNote mostly. Whenever I am trying to launch OneNote 2003 on my system it asked me to enter the product key again though my office is activated. And the problem only exists with OneNote, all other programs are working fine including word, excel, etc.

Someone suggested me to use key finder programs to get product key from the registry, I got the keys successfully and when put the same in OneNote it says wrong key entered. Please help.

Why do you need to use key finder, you must be having the keys right on your CD sticker. Anyway, I don’t know what could be the reason behind this problem but I do know how it can be solved.

I don’t know whether you have the correct keys with you (that you got using key finder program), but if it is correct you should re-install your entire office and activate again with the activation keys. As OneNote is the part of office, once office activate it will too get activated and probably should not prompt for the activation keys now.
