Is Microsoft Office Standard 2002 compatible with Windows Vista

As of now I am having a Windows XP computer on which I was able to use Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2002 successfully. Now I just wanted to know, as I have ordered a new Vista Laptop, will this Office Standard 2002 work with the same ? I don’t want to spend the money again to buy this hence requesting some experience buddy to please reply. Thank you.

Yes, you can use your Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2002 on Windows Vista as well; it is compatible but not 100%. If you use Outlook, you are going to face some problems with it. The very first and most annoying problem is you will need to enter Network Password each and every time because the registry key used by Outlook Standard 2002 cannot be used in Windows Vista.
