This is a common issue that number of people had faced. Whenever I run the setup everytime the Office keeps on installing on its own. I do not understand which things is missing in your system. I had seen this error on microsoft forums discussed a number of time. I had read a hundreds of discussion on the same but still it did not worked. The message on screen says some configuration for Office Ultimate 2007. Everytime when I launch Word or Excel the error appear on the screen. Is this due to some missing updates in the system.

Did you tried to re-install the same. Go on Start Menu > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Remove Office and re-install it back again. It is not due to pending updates, some pending file or setup is corrupted in your system. Office tries to reconfigure the same again and again when you launch it.

I'm quite sure because i have had the exact same symtoms!
