End User License Agreement keeps popping up

A week ago I installed Office 2007 basic on my Windows XP computer that went smoothly without any problem. But now whenever I try to launch any Office program, every time I get greeted with “End User License Agreement”. It happens with all programs though I click Accept. Sometimes it appears more than once.

Any help to get rid of this ?

As far as I know the End User License Agreement keeps popping up when your user account does not have permissions to modify the Microsoft Windows Registry. Are you logged in with Administrator account ?

IF you turn off the UAC, then accept the license agreement it should resolve your issue.

If you follow the KB to the point of running as administrator that worked for me. I had installed it not as an administrator for the machine. Problem resolved by running as administrator. No registry change needed and no UAC change either.
