    Office 2007 installation Setup.exe problem

I need some urgent help installing my Office product. I bought a genuine Office Professional Plus 2007 and downloaded. There was no problem in the download process, everything went fine. Once downloaded completely, I extracted it to a folder on my D drive, went to ProPlus Cab file in the ProPlus.WW folder and double clicked on the Setup.exe.

Surprisingly it asked me to extract the setup.exe as well, I did it and the installation process started, prompted me for Product key, I entered the same and progress bar went through 50%. Here the problem arises. An error window occurred saying it cannot find the setup and asking me for the location. Though i give the location of the same setup I run, it gives error and quits installation wizard. Somebody please help.

RE: Office 2007 installation Setup.exe problem

Who told you that setup.exe use to be under ProPlus Cab file in the ProPlus.WW folder ? Dude the setup.exe you need to run use to be right in the ROOT directory if the downloaded file. You need to enter any cab or any kind of folder. Now see if there is any installation folder generated in your program files. If there is any delete it from your system completely and restart the installation by clicking setup in the root directory.
