MOBILE INTERNET BOOM in INDIA

BRIC countries are likely to become home to over 1.7 billion mobile users by 2012, with India accounting for 560 million of these, a report by eMarketers said. Out of the 1.7 billion, 680 million users are expected to be addicted to net surfing through their handsets, the report added. China is expected to top the chart with 800 million. India would be followed by Russia with 189 million users and Brazil at 176 million.

my opera mini browser works far better than my internet explorer,
i have yahoo chat on mobile, i can load big big 3gps on mobile (with high quality and high download rates) the cost is little much but ok
even one can login to irc nowadays through mobile...
i think internet via mobile is going to be a big thing in India...
