Aircel Blackout day is the day when no SMS package will work & all SMS will be chargeable.BSNL will not provide any discount on the Aircel backout day.No discounts/sms packs/Dedicated Account/PSO based sms will remain valid on these dates.
Below we provide the Aircel blackout Day List For 2011.

•New Year Day ( 1st January 2011)
•Valentine’s Day (14th February 2011)
•Friendship day (7th August 2011)
•Diwali ( 26 October 2011)
•New Year Eve (31 December 2011)

SMS Charge During Aircel Blackout Day In 2011:
Local SMS Rs 0.60/sms
National SMS Rs 1.2/sms

I am also using the Aircel connection I mean the service provider of mine is Aircel and now it is good to know that the messages that we send on this specific days are charged locally and no plans will have any effect on the same.
