What are the basic rules and system requirement for opening a cyber cafe?

Hi every one I have got Bachelors degree in commerce field and do not have good academic score, and my father is conditioning his ancestral business of textiles. Since I will not get much paid even if I got any job with such profile and such marks, so I have opted to choose a new business for me and be independent as far as the earnings are concerned, I have decided to open a cyber cafe , specially for gaming purpose. But I have lots of questions regarding this business because till now I was relying on my father for each and everything , but mow I want to earn myself and give my family something in return. My questions are related to Government rules and regulations and the legal procedure for the cafe. Should I get the shop on land , Which ISP service provide will be the best for my business, about the hardware related things such as system configuration , any specific software required for the server and the operating system . You can also give your additional tips if I have missed out some thing. give your inputs as early as you can.

It seems that you belong to a very financially sound family background. It really fells good when lads like you get your lessons . Yes you should not always rely on your family always , because each human being passes through a certain age where he/she has to live for others far more than for others more than for himself/herself. And I reckon you are right now in that age. You have got a bachelors degree , so you are capable enough to handle your own business. But you should be impatient and take any decision in hurry. I think it would be better if you have your own land ,than going for a rented land , because in metropolitan cities you will have to change the location in every 11 months as per the agreement if the owner does not agree to renew the contract.And on the other hand you can invest the amount of rent in the up gradation on the system you have installed or the interiors.

Yes really you should use your own shop, why to waste unnecessary on the leased shop. You should consider the locality as your benchmark of your business. It is advised that you pick a locality which has schools colleges or any youngsters gathering zone. So that they can come after their studies to have fun in your cafe. If asked about the system configuration you should get assembled computer rigs that have modern processors, if you do not lack finance you can opt out for advanced rigs or gaming consoles that include high definition graphic cards and can implement joysticks with every system.

You should have at least 200sq carpet area land in your shop or more to accommodate at least 10 people , you can increase it according to your feasibility in your budget. If you are establishing a cafe for gaming purpose only then you can part your cafe in different sections according to the games being played on the LAN. Mostly influenced LAN game is Counter Strike , so will require a stream . For games like FIFA it is recommended that each system on which FIFA is installed must have at least one joystick controller attached to it. Well I think you should start your cyber cafe business on a rented area first. I am not trying to discourage you but let me tell you that this type o business are really difficult to sustain and may lead in insolvency if you mishandle it. I too had the same business which I could not continue much longer, for that reason I am suggesting you to take a shop on rent , unfortunately something unusual happens you will be in big trouble to manage everything and the biggest hurdle will be to pay the debts. You can consult an estate agent . he in turn will show you the shop as per your need. In return he will take two or three brokerages as remuneration which will be equivalent to twice or thrice of the amount of rent of each month. You will be required to pay a deposit amount too t the owner, if you hire a broker then you can pay the deposit amount and the first rent to the broker then he will pay to the owner after deducting his charges. The amount of rent and deposit depends on the locality . You can even pay the amount of rent in lump sum.
