Pulsar 200 bike speedometer keeps fluctuating

Recently i had purchased a new Pulsar 200 bike. Its only three month old bike and the speedometer on my Pulsar 200 bike has started showing me the random values whenever i'm riding the bike. Let say for example its value keeps on fluctuating from 0 to 40, even if my speed is is around 40kmph. Does any body knows why does my Pulsar 200 bike speedometer keeps on fluctuating? What could be the problem? Kindly suggestion me the correct solution to resolve the speedometer fluctuating issue. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Pulsar 200cc features India’s first oil cooled engine which delivers a maximum power of 18Ps@8000rpm making it most powerful engine offered by Bajaj. As far as actual performance is concerned, the 200 is not blazingly fast with a top speed of around 126 kms per hour, but then this bike will get you from standstill to 60 in little less than six seconds.

Problem is that the speedometer cable is sticking. The pulsar 200cc offers an impressive mileage of 38.3kpl in city and 42.4kpl in highway. For that you need to unscrew it from behind the instrument and need to put some oil towards down side. It will come right after a few miles of riding.

Pulsar 200cc features a digital console which uses only LEDs and intelligently varies its amber backlight intensity for viewing in either day or night. Power output maxes out at 18.01 PS at 8000 rpm, and the relatively short stroke of 56mm means that you get an engine that’s happy with high revs, and the exhuastec system ensures that you don’t fade out in the low and middle ranges.
