Terrorists attacked the IT hub of India - Bangalore. Just around the lunch time, six serial blasts rocked Bangalore, killing a woman and injuring over 15 people. According to some sources, the death toll could be three, but it is yet to be confirmed.
Among the areas where the explosions occurred are Adugodi, Madivala, Pantherpura and Nayandahalli.
The first three blasts took place between 1.30 p.m. and 1.45 p.m. Bomb disposal squads were rushed to the sites.
"We will investigate and arrest the suspects," Bidri told reporters. "We are on complete alert."
Badri appealed to people not to panic and to go about with their routine work. However, most shops and shopping malls immediately shut down as news of the blasts spread.
Telephone lines have been jammed in Bangalore. A high alert has been sounded in the national capital.
