wireless pci card?

I cant get install the Asante wireless adapter (PCI). i think the driver that i have download is incorrect . i got that from INF files. i have try compared the VEN ID and i got to know that the the driver was in 168C and in the Device Manager it was 148C

i tryed every thing that i could i try to first editing the .INF second modifying the VEN ID and it was waste of time i couldn't install it , i think i have don something wrong in editing !

Please help me! here are more details about my wireless adapter

Brand: Asante
Type: Wireless Adapter
Operating system: Windows xp home edition

i got really forested with this thing and i gave it to my brother he is expert in this, im know he will fix this thing
