With Windows Vista Cannot Connect To Router?

    I've got:
    - Internett on every computer on the network
    - Access to my router on every computer on the network except this one
    - Access to my router from this computer using XP on an other partition
    - Static IP on every computer
    - Gateway 192.168.2.1
    - DNS 192.168.2.1
    - Mask 255.255.255.0
    - The router is quite new and is working fine with other Vista computers

Have tried connecting using telnet and ping
    telnet: Can not connect
    Pinging the router: OK
Pinging the other computers on the network: NOT OK

    Can anyone help me?
ALWAYS RIGHT - OTHER WISE I WUDNT SEY IT

Turn off the firewalls on the computer you want to ping, then try pinging it.
