    How to change Mac Address in Suse Linux 9.2

    Hi !!!

    I need to change my mac address of my Lan Card in Suse Linux 9.2.

    how can i do that?? i have tried many things but none of them is working for me please give me a tried solution.

    ifconfig eth0 hw <mac address> should probably do the trick ... replace eth0 with the device name for ethernet card (eth1, eth2 etc) if the card is not the first card in the system.
