Windows 8 driver for Belkin F5D8055 Wireless N+ Adapter

I have installed Windows 8 driver last night in my home system , its working great but I am not able to find out Windows 8 driver for my Belkin F5D8055 Wireless N+ Adapter. I have tried installing windows 7 driver for it but it doesn’t work. Is there anyone who can point me to a site form where I can download windows 8 driver for it???

Same here . I have checked out Belkin official site and I don’t see any driver supporting windows 8. Does that mean I will have to wait long for getting a compatible driver?? Isn’t there any way of getting it working using windows 7 driver??

I want to know if you get any error message while you install windows 8 driver for your Belkin Wireless N+ Adapter?? If yes, than post it in your nest reply, it might help me in understanding your problem better.
Since windows 8 has been released yesterday itself I guess many hardware manufacturer might have not yet come up with a compatible driver for it even though they had enough time.

I am not getting any error message as such. Windows 7 driver gets installed fine but I don’t know for what reason windows 8 is reporting no driver available. Should I contact Microsoft for the same?? I have tried contacting Belkin but I haven’t got any response from them yet. I have gone through many forums and I haven’t found any one getting Belkin Wireless N+ Adapter working with windows 8.
What are my options for now?? Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

There is no point in contacting Microsoft in that, I mean they are not responsible for any hardware driver for their operating system. In fact hardware manufacturer should come up with latest driver for their products.

So you mean to say I will have to sit and keep praying that Belkin comes up with a compatible driver soon.
Isn’t there any hack that I can try out to make windows 7 drivers compatible with windows 8?? I mean after some editing an all

Guys if you have installed windows 8 over windows 7 than go in to c:\windows.old\windows\system32\driverStore\ in your windows.old folder and see if there is a driver for it. If yes than you can choose update driver option in device manager and point the installed to windows.old driver store. Once you do that driver should get installed find and windows 8 should not report “no driver available” or any other such message. Just give it a shot and post back your response.

I have gone through windows compatibility center and have checked out its compatibility for Belkin Wireless N+ USB Wireless Network Adapter F5D8055 and this is what I have found.

I have installed same driver, can you just confirm if it has worked out for anyone??? I am really not able to get it working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it quite a few times and I have made clean installation too but no matter what windows 8 keeps on saying “no driver available”.
