how to know if a person is stealing my internet connection
i have a mtnl connection and i wanted 2 knw that is it possible that a person steals my internet connection
right now i have a unlimited plan but i wanted 2 take the 50p/mb plan but then my friend said that a hacker could steal my connection resulting in more usage?

I dont think anyone can likely steal internet from your connection since, each modem has its own MAC address and it is assigned to your account only. If it was a wireless internet connection then internet stealing could have been possible if you have not set up a password to protect it. Due to FUP, now a days only internet is limited to certain speeds when the fup is achieved.
