If you are getting the problem that “two smart switches are not able to see anything which is directly plugged in” then in that case you need to have a weird connection among them. There is no need to do anything to switches, such that you do not have do any type of settings with them, whereas the switches will Auto-negotiate speed and talk to each other. For that you just need to leave the STP on, which is being set by default. It is being set to block a port, in the event of a loop. I would also like to suggest that you are updating the switch to latest firmware. Just try out the thing and see that it is working or not. |
