NetGear GS724TP and GSM7248 switches won’t see anything directly plugged in

Hello friends, I have purchased the NetGear GS724TP and GSM7248 switches for me and installed it on my network. Such that I have got one of GSM7248 and two of GS724 switches. Once I have installed all of them and start to work then only GSM7248 was working and other two smart switches are not able to see anything which is directly plugged in. I have connected both of the smart switches to port no. 41 ad 43 of GSM7248 switch. I do know that these are the ports which are showing the traffic through the ports on the managed switch web interface. I would like to know that is there something which I need to do so that managed switch start work and able to talk with the other switches? Should I do something in smart switches, such that some settings to see both of them on the network. Please help me out with this problem. Thank you.

If you are getting the problem that “two smart switches are not able to see anything which is directly plugged in” then in that case you need to have a weird connection among them. There is no need to do anything to switches, such that you do not have do any type of settings with them, whereas the switches will Auto-negotiate speed and talk to each other. For that you just need to leave the STP on, which is being set by default. It is being set to block a port, in the event of a loop. I would also like to suggest that you are updating the switch to latest firmware. Just try out the thing and see that it is working or not.
