| Re: How to do a factory reset for Netgear FSM726v1
I have tried one method for me; I would be suggesting you to try it. First you do the power cycle the switch and then you boot in the hyperterminal, after that you press ESC key. When you have press the ESC key then entered into the console mode afterwards type Z and will be getting a prompt screen which will showing you a message “You need to know what you’re doing” also ask yes or no (Y/N) then you type X and after the press enter which will be cleaning the NVRAM. One you are done with that then press G and after that you continue with it. Then you will be boot to Flash and also you will be able to access the switches configuration. So can try out for you and will be able to work out for you. |
