Installing php-apache on Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 NAS gives error: apache.postinst returned 1

Hello friends I have installed PHP on my Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 NAS and when I try to install Apache-PHP at that time I get error saying “apache.postinst returned 1”. I don’t know what is causing this problem. If anyone have solution regarding this problem then let me know. Thank you in advance.

I was also going though from similar type of problem I have solved this issue by editing the httpd.conf file. You have to first open opt folder and then go to the etc. now you will see the apache2 folder and from there you need to open httpd.conf file. After opening the httpd.conf file you have to comment with this line “#LoadModule ext_filter_module libexec/mod_ext_filter.so”. Once you finished with editing the httpd.conf file you have to try to install apache again and then see whether it gives you error or not?

I have tried to solve this problem by editing the httpd.conf file from apache2 but after editing the httpd.conf file when I tried to install apache at that time I get error. I have tried also tried to search solution on internet regarding this but that does not make any difference. What should I do to solve this problem?

If above solution does not help you to solve this problem then you have to try this step. First you have to open apps folder from mnt and then select all the data from that folder and copy it to apps folder which you will find in soho_storage. You have to use this command to copy the data “cp -rvp /mnt/apps /mnt/soho_storage/apps”. Now after doing this you have to run this command “mount --bind /mnt/soho_storage/apps /mnt/apps” and you need to run it when you restart the system. Now try to install apache again and then see whether it makes any difference or not? Before you copy the data you have to make sure that you have enough space on soho_storage. If you want anymore help regarding this problem then let me know.
